The Robin's Nook is a dynamic mother-daughter team that loves to craft 1 of a kind products. My daughter Katelyne is our jewelry design expert, and I am our lead soaper.
While we each have our craft, we often collaborate and work together to make sure that each product is made with love and care. We also enjoy crafting things such as handmade cards, paintings, poems, etc for our community, church, friends, and family.
We are always learning and testing out new formulas, designs, and ideas. As with any business, there is always a new lesson to learn and ways you can grow.
Our entrepreneur journey started with my daughter having a micro-business selling jewelry in our homeschool coop. That led us to realize that we have so many talented youth in America that have amazing skills and abilities with astonishing creativity! But many of them have no way to utilize those skills to generate an income or test their products/services in a real market setting. Prior to opening The Robin's Nook, we had no entrepreneurial skills, knowledge, or experience. So together we began to learn about what it means to be an entrepreneur and soon, The Robin's Nook was born.
We hope that one day we will be able to use our joint business to launch a Junior Entrepreneur Program for teens in Jacksonville and other communities.
Until then we focus on combining quality ingredients, creativity, and close attention to detail to handcraft skin-loving bath products and one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces.
